You are invited to share in the 15 acre farm located in the center of the town of Blanco.
When you visit Das Zuehl Haus you have a full house at your convenience in complete privacy.
And just three blocks from the Old Court House. So set back on the large porch overlooking the farm and town of Blanco and relax for a while.

Zuehl Haus is reserved as a whole house for it's paying guests. It has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, full kitchen, bath , living room and hot tub.

KITCHEN
This is without doubt one of the most interesting rooms of Das Zuehl Haus. The Zuehl Family antique wooden ice box will catch your eye quickly as well as the antique Pie Safe that is filled with numerous family treasures. The kitchen area has the original cabinets that were so popular during the early 1940 time period.

BATHROOM
Our guests are immediately struck with the huge clawfoot tub/ shower that await them. Large bath towels are provided for our guests comfort. A hair blow dryer is provided for your use and complimentary shampoos, soaps and lotions are also provided. Slip into one of our large bathrobes that are available to our guests during their stay.

After a full day of shopping with town retailers , antiques and Lavender Hill farm relax in the Hot Tub. And enjoy the Texas stars at night in complete privacy.

LIVING ROOM
Comfortable sofas, cable TV with DVD player is available for our guests comfort. Each room of Das Zuehl Haus still has the original “pocket doors” that were so popular during the 1940’s. Beautiful hard wood floors shine throughout the entire house and have been restored to their original beauty.

Bedroom 1
GRANDPA & GRANDMA’S ROOM
When you step into this bedroom, you are first struck by the antique bed that belonged to the grandfather of Matthew Herden. Every effort has been taken to give our guests a night of complete rest and relaxation. There is a stereo system beside the bed with a choice of music cds for our guests to use while they are staying with us. Grandma’s rocking chair sits quietly beside the bed—so feel free to sit a spell and let the charm of those long-ago days envelope you. |

Bedroom 2
The ROSE ROOM
This bedroom has been lovingly decorated with many antiques and welcomes you to enjoy the fine linens that adorn the bed. After a full day of shopping and cutting lavender at Lavender Hill (located approximately one half mile behind Das Zuehl Haus) let yourself sit in our antique rocking chair and read one of the numerous books that date back to the 1920’s time period. We hope you enjoy the Rose Room. |
